We care deeply about the historic and cultural links between Ireland and Spain. Thus, we have hosted St. Patrick’s Day events with a Spanish flavour, as well as Bloomsday celebrations.

Outside of that, book launches and exhibitions are how we like to spend our time.

We talk about culture inside and outside Madrid, through our own chat and banter, and through interviews with an array of interesting people, from artists to writers, and from actors to normal people with a story to tell. We record everywhere, from museums to bars, capturing amazing moments. People will talk.

We have far more experience translating and editing than fits in a picture, but here are some examples. And that is just fiction and non-fiction books. We first wrote a book together in 2019. It really worked, and we have gone to publish two more ever since. But we have also authored our own individual books.

From misinformation to sustainability and fiction, we are lucky enough to use our background experience and ideas to do what we like best, writing.

Through two walking tours in Spain’s great capital, we celebrate the facades of Lavapiés, which take in the great sweep of Spanish history. There is a fatalistic bullfighter, hot-air ballooning daredevils, as well as the magic and romance of cinema. In our Irish history tour, we speak about the Irish who fled to a strange new land, fearing for their lives.
